There is a nomenclature discussion that happens periodically: is it a Forest, or is it Woods? Our common use is Woods, as in, “I am going to the woods to cut firewood.”
Because we have the woods, we do harvest our own firewood. But we also harvest and sell logs, we harvest and mill lumber, and we bring ‘interesting’ chunks and logs up to use for yard decore!
